Westerlies of 10 to 15 knots on Friday as a weak trough crosses the Island, becoming 15 to 20 knot north-northwesterlies overnight in its wake. Northwesterlies of 10 knots on Saturday as high pressure begins to build from the Maritimes. Good visibility through the period. Temperatures remaining near minus 1 through Friday, lowering to minus 3 Saturday morning.

GOOD NEWS!!! We are back on the air!!! We have replaced Buoy4 at the Red Island location with a new buoy, it is reporting as per normal.

Due to a power outage and subsequent server crash. Placentia Bay Buoy Data will not be available until early next week. We are working on the problem and the Smartbay team hopes to have the problem resolved as soon as possible.
