Southeasterlies 20 to 30 knots tonight as a low brings a frontal trough over Newfoundland. Winds increasing to 30 to 35 knots Friday morning as the trough approaches the bay, veering to south 20 to 30 knots Friday afternoon under the trough. Winds diminish to south 10 to 15 knots Friday evening behind the trough. Southwesterlies of 5 to 10 knots Saturday as the low moves over Newfoundland. Fair visibility through Friday improving on Saturday. There is a risk of thundershowers tonight and Friday. Temperatures rise to 17 this evening and continue through Friday. Temperatures near 16 on Saturday.

The new WatchKeeper buoy located at Come By Chance Point is now on station and reporting on the SmartBay.ca website and on SmartBay Mobile. Many thanks to Canadian Coast Guard for their cooperation and assistance in getting the new buoys deployed.
